RIVER CRUISER open meeting Saturday 18th August

The River Cruiser open meeting for the Phillips Cup will be on Saturday 18th August, the day before Oulton Week starts.

3 races (2 to count) at 11.00, 13.00 and 15.00. Entry fee £5. Prize-giving will be during the Commodore's Reception that evening to mark the start of Oulton Week.

Phil Plant Race – Saturday 21st July

A good turn-out for the Phil Plant race - 25 boats from Optimists to Waveneys and BODs. Big thank you to Jenny, Bryan and Jill for setting a good course. The weather was great and it was good afternoon of sailing. Results here.

WOBYC Summer Weekend Regatta July 14th-15th

What a super weekend it was! A Summer Regatta can't get more summery than that and it's great that so many people took part. More than 40 boats raced at least once.

Waveney Championships 2018

Congratulations to Simon and Caroline Marfleet and Phil Large on winning the Waveney Class Championships for the 2nd year running. Full results are here

Phantom, K1 and Streaker open meeting Saturday 9th June

About us…

The Waveney & Oulton Broad Yacht Club is one of the regions premier sailing clubs, and the only one in the broadland area to offer racing 52 weeks of the year.
Situated on the south side of Oulton Broad in Nicholas Everitt Park it boasts an enviable position with views of the whole sailing area from the grounds and each of the three balconies. Facilities include changing facilities, a canteen, stair and lift access to the first floor where there is a large bar area and the race control office or 'the box'. Outside there are two large floating pontoon jetties which offer safe and easy mooring.
WOBYC is a club run by its members for its members.
