Congratulations Joe Drake!

Joe Drake has won the Laser Standard section of the RYA Youth National Championships. With a super score that included 6 wins in the 9 race series, he dominated the fleet. Onwards and upwards!

Broadland Youth Regatta at Norfolk Punt Club, Barton Broad Saturday 1st Sept.

WOBYC WON IT 

Well done TEAM WOBYC - Edward and James Nourse, Thomas Betts, Harry Purvis, Ellie Oliver, Gordon Royall, Felix Cripps and George Madin. 

Special mention must go to George and Felix who won in the Slow Handicap and Topper fleets respectively and Edward and James who were 2nd and 3rd in the Fast Handicap.

About us…

The Waveney & Oulton Broad Yacht Club is one of the regions premier sailing clubs, and the only one in the broadland area to offer racing 52 weeks of the year.
Situated on the south side of Oulton Broad in Nicholas Everitt Park it boasts an enviable position with views of the whole sailing area from the grounds and each of the three balconies. Facilities include changing facilities, a canteen, stair and lift access to the first floor where there is a large bar area and the race control office or 'the box'. Outside there are two large floating pontoon jetties which offer safe and easy mooring.
WOBYC is a club run by its members for its members.
