Summer Regatta - July 6th and 7th

A busy weekend coming up: with the Nearly Festival in the Park, and the Summer Regatta at the Club.

Saturday

13.00           Junior Novices race for the Mackley Trophy

14.00           Phil Plant allcomers race (includes Talbot Trophy for first helm under 17) and Miss Mariner Trophy for first lady helm)

15.30           Fast Handicap race 1
15.33           BODs race 1
15.36           Waveneys race 1
15.39           Slow Handicap race 1

The Club Bar-B-Que will be available from about 15:00 for you to bring along your own food and cook it, while listening to the Nearly Festival nearby. The bar will be open!

Sunday

10.15           David Hannant allcomers race (includes Calver Cup for the fastest boat)

11.30           Fast Handicap race 2
11.33           BODs race 2
11.36           Waveneys race 2
11.39           Slow Handicap race 2

12.45           Fast Handicap race 3
12.48           BODs race 3
12.51           Waveneys race 3
12.54           Slow Handicap race 3

14.00           Prize-giving (straight after racing)

The Bar will be open, and cakes and buns will be provided. The Club would love sone of you bakers to bake a cake or two and bring it along! 

Please note:

For the class race series, all races count. There are no discards! except for the Fast Handicap Series which, if all 3 races are sailed, will have 1 discard.
