ENTRY DETAILS

Oulton Week 2024 18th to 23rd August 

ENTRIES MUST BE MADE IN ADVANCE. Entry forms will be available on the club website www.wobyc.com . Entries to be received by the club by 4 pm on Saturday 17th August. 

Entry fees: for helms aged 18 or under. £1 per race; everyone else £2 per race.


Fast Handicap is for dinghies with PY of 1162 or less. In addition, K1 and Flying Fifteen keelboats are permitted to compete in Fast Handicap races.

Slow Handicap is for dinghies with PY of 1163 to 1665.

Lasers have their own class races in the mornings. Lasers can enter Laser class and Fast Handicap races as standard or radial rigs. Standard entries may use radial rigs but will still sail to the standard PN. Radial entries cannot use standard rigs.  Handicaps will be applied even in the Laser class races. (Laser 4.7s will race in the Slow Handicap)

Optimists have their own class races in the mornings.

Norfolk Dinghies have their own class races in the afternoons.

Hansa 303 Dinghies will race on Monday, Wednesday and Friday only.

Mixed One Designs is restricted to W.O.D, B.O.D., Y&B.O.D. and Squibs.

River Cruiser split start will be decided by the class. Please note: the Fast and Slow fleets will sail in separate races but both will count toward the final results.

Blackburn Trophy: Four-a-side Keelboat Team Race between WOD, BOD, Y&BOD and Squibs. Helms must have competed in a class race during Oulton Week 2024 of the class they are chosen to represent.

The Bloodbath Race on Friday afternoon is an Allcomers average lap handicap race with a split start - Fast boats at 15:45, slower boats at 15:48. See club noticeboard for list of classes/boats in each start.
